Many Stranger Things cast members have joined other blockbuster franchises over the years. As a few examples, Finn Wolfhard joined Ghostbusters and Millie Bobby Brown joined the Godzilla franchise. Now it looks like fellow co-star Sadie Sink could be up for a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Fans will know Sadie Sink for having portrayed the character Max in the last several seasons of Stranger Things. Now, as shared by insider Daniel Richtman via Covered Geekly, Sadie Sink could be showing up for a Marvel role at some point in the future.
Essentially, one user commented on a post made by Richtman, asking the following question:
“Do you know if she’s [SADIE SINK] up for an MCU role?”
Richtman’s response:
“She is.”
Of course, it’s unknown exactly what role Sadie Sink could end up with if she were to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But there’s certainly no shortage of superheroes to choose from. Especially as the franchise begins to delve more into the Multiverse and its newly-acquired X-Men characters, the possibilities seem to be endless.
As for now, Sadie Sink will soon be filming her scenes for the upcoming fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The new season will be ending Netflix’s highly-acclaimed series and thus it could free up Sadie Sink’s schedule greatly. Of course, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been busy, having already been involved with Netflix’s Fear Street films and The Whale starring Brendan Fraser.
It’s also worth noting that this is only speculation at this point. As such, fans should take this report with a grain of salt. But given the number of Marvel roles available – and Sink’s growing popularity – it does make sense that she could earn a part in the MCUin the future.
