Although fans have seen the titular Guardians of the Galaxy appear in a number of MCU projects in recent years – we haven’t had a complete solo film since 2017. Now Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will bring back the beloved superhero team for another outing as teased in the newest Super Bowl trailer for the film.
The plot of this new film seems to revolve heavily around Rocket the Raccoon. As such, one can only imagine the emotional pull that this new installment will have, especially with Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill still coming to terms with the loss of Gamora. Though the trailer does reveal some of the action and humor that fans have come to love with this particular Marvel franchise.
This new installment in the Guardians of the Galaxy film franchise is highly-anticipated for a number of reasons. One such reason is that the film not only brings the team back to the big screen – but it’s been teased to be the final outing for this particular iteration of the group. With James Gunn also leaving the franchise behind to focus on DC – it’s certainly a bittersweet moment for fans. Hopefully we’ll have some additional glimpses soon in the coming months.
