Fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. After all, who wouldn’t want to see the iconic characters reinvented with a horror twist? Interestingly, however, it appears that a sequel to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is already on the horizon.
It isn’t surprising for a horror film to receive a sequel. Especially if the film is considered a success. But considering that Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey has yet to even be released – this is a major sign of confidence.
As you can see below, a mere teaser poster for the Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey sequel was shared on Twitter. The poster drops the “Blood and Honey” subtitle and merely announces “Winnie-the-Pooh 2.” In addition to the poster’s promise that the film is “coming soon,” the following tagline is visible:
“Friends will gather… to take revenge.”

Additionally, fans will notice that the caption for the post teases “More blood. More honey.” As such, for those who end up enjoying the carnage of the first film later this month, it looks like a sequel won’t be too far behind. Though it’ll likely be awhile before we have any additional details regarding the project. But it’s possible that production could get underway quite soon. Especially if the filmmaking team behind Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey wants to continue striking while the iron is hot.
Rhys Frake-Waterfield both wrote and directed the horror film from a screenplay inspired from the public domain characters created by A.A. Milne.
The cast of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey includes Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Scott.
Fans can look forward to seeing Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey in theaters on February 15, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates on the highly-anticipated horror film and its upcoming sequel as we have them.
