The mega box-office hit Spider-Man: No Way Home was a big win for Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures. The collaboration between the two significant studios brought a lot of hype before premiering worldwide and definitely stuck the landing. Rumors on who would appear in the highly anticipated film were thrown around for a while. Some were potential spoilers that stuck, and many more were sites hoping to take a shot in the dark and hit something. But that didn’t stop the film from being a spectacle.
Spider-Man: No Way Home featured other characters within the Spider-Man film universe. The movie starring Tom Holland includes Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men and many of the movies’ villains. It was an exciting aspect, and every comic book fan’s wet-dream of seeing a version of The Sinister Six appear on the big screen. Now it looks like there could’ve been more featured in Spider-Man: No Home Way during the planning stage.
Marvel artist Phil Langone showcased a new storyboard on his Instagram page. The artist reveals that the villain Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) almost appeared in the movie that featured many of the Spider-Men. Of course, we all remember that the character was killed off in Spider-Man: Far From Home. The scene would’ve been after Aunt May’s (Marisa Tomei) death but was eventually scrapped.

Langone states in the Instagram post, “This version happened under an elevated train next to Peter’s school. JJ Jameson is a TMZ-style street reporter.” He continued, “Part of the idea being explored was Spidey is one of the strongest superheroes, but he holds back because he doesn’t want to kill anyone. But what would it sort of look like if Spidey went berserker mode? Kind of never finished, but was fun to play with. There’s another half to this where Spidey wails on the fishbowl.”
Marvel Studios is churning out its projects on the big and little screens with varying success. First, however, let’s admit that Spider-Man: No Way Home was something that most people can agree was terrific.
