The Power Rangers franchise has kept a special place in the hearts of millions over the decades. Now fans can see their favorite heroes reunite with the upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always 30th Anniversary Special reunion.
The new special will be available on the Netflix streaming service this year. Fans will see original cast members including original blue Ranger, David Yost and original black Ranger, Walter Emanuel Jones. The special also includes second pink Ranger, Catherine Sutherland, second yellow Ranger, Karan Ashley, second Black Ranger, Johnny Yong, and second red Ranger, Steve Cardenas. Additionally, Charlie Kersh will be playing Minh, the daughter of the original yellow Ranger, first played by the late Thuy Trang.
It’s also possible that fans will see other familiar faces throughout the special. For example, we’ll actually have two voice actors joining the cast of returning Rangers. Barbara Goodson and Richard Horvitz, the voice actors for Rita Repulsa and Alpha 5, respectively, will also be appearing. As such, this is definitely a Power Rangers reunion that franchise fans won’t want to miss.
Here’s the trailer for the highly-anticipated special:
The original Power Rangers incarnation, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, was an adaptation of the Japanese series Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger. It wasn’t long before it became a pop culture sensation throughout the 1990s. This popularity has lasted ever since. There have been numerous different Power Rangers iterations and members as a result. But many fans have a special place in their heart for these earlier heroes – and now we’ll get to see them suit up in Angel Grove for the first time in nearly 30 years.
Fans will be able to stream Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always 30th Anniversary Special on April 19, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional updates regarding the Power Rangers franchise as we have them.
