Zack Snyder’s Justice League was only the first step, it seems, for SnyderVerse fans that wish to see his vision for the DCU continued. At this point, fans have now created their own petition to try and convince Warner Bros to outright sell the SnyderVerse to Netflix.
Zack Snyder has collaborated with Netflix on several projects at this point, namely Army of the Dead and the upcoming film Rebel Moon. As such, fans believe that Netflix would be the perfect place for Snyder to pursue his vision for DC and the SnyderVerse.
This has led “#SellSnyderVerseToNetflix” to trend on Twitter for multiple days. Many of the films involved with this hashtag include David Ayer’s original cut of Suicide Squad and multiple theoretical sequels to Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Here are some posts that were made to urge Warner Bros to sell the SnyderVerse to Netflix:

Of course, at this point, this seems incredibly unlikely to ever happen. James Gunn has made it clear that the official DCU will be cutting ties with the SnyderVerse. Additionally, it appears that his DCU will be cutting other ties in general – with Henry Cavill’s Superman being replaced as a result. It wouldn’t make sense to give their potential competitor a completely separate slate of DC projects to work with.
Additionally, Netflix and Warner Bros Discovery have not been on the best terms as of late. With the takeover of David Zaslav, Warner Bros and Netflix had their previous distribution deal changed. Previously, Netflix paid the producers of WB shows over an 18-24 month period. With Zaslav in control, however, this payment structure was deemed unacceptable. And, as a result, new WB shows have been suspended other than those like The Sandman which exist under prior agreements
It’s certainly admirable to see SnyderVerse fans so eager to have Zack Snyder’s vision protected. But, as of this writing, it seems like a losing battle. Of course, while a sale to Netflix seems unlikely, there are always other possibilities in the future to dabble in Snyder’s continuity. It all depends on how the newly-titled DCU takes off and whether or not fans continue to show their support (or lack thereof) for the SnyderVerse.
