‘The Flash’ Promo Art Includes Batman And A Weird Flash Variant

It’s expected that a trailer for The Flash will premiere at this year’s Super Bowl on February 12. In the meantime, however, a piece of promo art for The Flash has surfaced online.

The image features several characters slated to appear in the film. This includes characters we were already aware of such as Ezra Miller’s Flash, Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, and Michael Keaton’s Batman. However, there’s an interesting addition.

It appears that there is also a variant of Ezra Miller’s Flash. Variants have become a popular term used for alternate universe versions of characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s unknown what to call these characters at this point in the DCU – but it’s interesting to see them approach the same concept.

Here’s the promo art for The Flash:

I heard the movie is really good but I’m not the biggest fan of these costumes. The 2 I like most are the makeshift Flash suit and the Batman suit although i don’t like Keaton’s neck piece. It’s too bulky pic.twitter.com/CsfXr2D7He

As you can see, the new Flash variant is particularly strange-looking. Of course, given how little we know about the character, he could be a fantastic part of the upcoming film. We’ll just have to wait for the final product. For now, however, it turns out that The Flash is actually scoring quite well in test screenings.

This is certainly a positive outcome for a film that’s had an otherwise iffy production (like many recent DC projects.) As the DCU is currently being restructured, one can only hope that The Flash will have a positive impact on the franchise going forward. Especially with such iconic characters as Michael Keaton’s Batman being part of the project.

The DC superhero film The Flash was directed by Andy Muschietti from a screenplay written by Christina Hodson. The story for the film was penned by John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein, and Joby Harold.

The cast includes Ezra Miller, Ron Livingston, Michael Keaton, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Sasha Calle, and Ben Affleck.

Fans will finally be able to see the new film hit theaters this year on June 16, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates on the project as we have them.
