The Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is beloved by some – but it’s also faced plenty of criticism. Now comic book writer Dan Slott has called out critics of the She-Hulk series.
It’s worth noting that Dan Slott was actually the writer of the particular She-Hulk comic book run that helped inspire the live-action series. As such, he’s a solid authority on the subject.
And, as he puts it, the series is actually rather accurate to the comics as opposed to what some critics have stated. This was all explained in a tweet that Dan Slott shared on his personal profile.
Here’s what he had to say:
“Anyone saying the She-Hulk TV show wasn’t ‘comic book accurate’… I’m the guy who has written more issues of SHE-HULK than anyone. I’ve read every single comic from every She-Hulk run. And I’m saying, for the record, it is the MOST comic book accurate show in the MCU.”
Dan Slott continued his thoughts in a follow-up tweet. He explained that critics shouldn’t hate on the series just because it’s not directed towards their tastes.
“Way too many people online don’t understand the difference between:
‘This was bad.’ & ‘This was a bad fit for me.’ Not everything needs to be for you. There are TONS of things for you. And things that are JUST for you. It’s ok for SOME things to be for people who aren’t you.”

When one considers Dan Slott’s position on the subject, having been a previous writer of the comic which inspired the series, it’s certainly difficult to argue. Of course, we’ll probably continue to see criticisms as that’s just the way of the internet. But at least the series exists for those who enjoy it.
