The latest installment in the Evil Dead film franchise is only a few months away. As such, original Evil Dead trilogy star Bruce Campbell has already delivered the first footage from Evil Dead Rise!
The new footage arrives just ahead of the film’s first official trailer which is scheduled to hit tomorrow. For now, however, fans can see Bruce Campbell introduce the first footage from the film in the most Bruce way possible.
As he states in the official look below:
“Hey, Evil Dead fans! I have a very exciting update to share with you. I have a sneak-peek of the new trailer for the next installment in the franchise: Evil Dead Rise.”
Bruce Campbell also explains that while he won’t be appearing in the film physically, he’s still involved as a producer.
“Even though I’m not in this film, as a producer, I’m all over this movie like a cheap suit. I guess you could say, I have a hand in it.”
He then settles any doubts that fans of the franchise might have before finally introducing the new teaser.
“Now I’ve seen the movie in all of its glory. And in case you’re wondering – yes, it is amazing. And yes, it is the scariest one yet. So please enjoy this first look… Evil Dead Rise.”

This is a thrilling glimpse at what’s to come. The new film looks like it will have quite a new take on the classic source material. So, with that said, let’s hope the new trailer delivers the rest of the goods. Luckily we won’t have long to wait.
Lee Cronin directed the film while original Evil Dead veterans Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and Robert Tapert produced the film. The film’s cast includes Alyssa Sutherland and Lily Sullivan, as well as Gabrielle Echols, Morgan Davies, Mia Challis, and Nell Fisher.
Fans can currently expect Evil Dead Rise to be released exclusively in theaters early next year on April 21, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates as we have them.
