Actor Jeremy Renner is said to be in “critical but stable condition” following a snow-plow accident. The accident is said to have happened this Sunday.
As noted via Deadline, Renner’s spokesperson confirmed the “critical but stable condition” after revealing the actor had “injuries suffered after experiencing a weather related accident while plowing snow earlier today.” It appears that Renner was staying at his home about 25 miles from Reno, Nevada.
This area suffered a winter storm on New Year’s Eve which explains why Jeremy Renner was plowing snow before his accident. In fact, the storm apparently forced 35,000 homes throughout the Washoe, Carson, Douglas, Storey, and Lyon counties in Nevada into a power outage.
Fortunately, his spokesperson confirmed that the beloved MCU actor is now with his family. This should be reassuring news for fans, friends, and family of the actor. Especially as the spokesperson adds that Renner is “receiving excellent care.”
Deadline notes that Jeremy Renner was “airlifted earlier Sunday to the hospital.” With that in mind, it’s nice knowing that they were able to get him medical assistance as soon as possible. Hopefully we’ll have further updates on his situation in the near future. For now, however, Renner remains stable.
Fans will recognize Jeremy Renner for his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the character Clint Barton aka Hawkeye.
