    First Look At ‘True Detective: Night Country’ Starring Jodie Foster Revealed

    Fans of True Detective are in for quite the treat with HBO Max‘s new “Coming Soon in 2023” sizzle reel. As you can see below, the first look at The Silence of the Lambs star Jodie Foster in True Detective: Night Country has been unveiled.

    This footage is our first look at the highly-anticipated new season. Of course, the footage isn’t much, but it’s great seeing a preview of what’s to come. Hopefully this means that we’ll have additional marketing delivered our way in the near future.

    For those eager to know more, here’s the setup of the new season:

    “The series is centered around Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro who are looking to solve the case of six men that operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanishing without a trace, when the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska. The pair will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.”

    With Jodie Foster and Kali Reis leading the series, it seems like this could be one of the show’s best seasons yet. Especially if this setup is any indication of what’s to come. The cast also includes John Hawkes, Christopher Eccleston, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, and Anna Lambe.

    Alan Page Arriaga wrote the exciting new season in addition to Issa López. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are returning as executive producers for the new season, with Jodie Foster joining as an additional executive producer. The show’s creator, Nic Pizzolatto, however, will be absent from this new season.
