Fans of Star Wars: The Bad Batch have been waiting quite awhile for the second season to arrive. Now, as you can see below, the time is almost here. Disney has unveiled the official trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2.
The footage shows all of the beloved characters from the first season. This includes the titular group of clones, the Bad Batch, and their new member Omega. It’s clear that they’re still trying to find their place in the galaxy now ruled by the newly-formed Empire.
It’s certainly an exciting look at the animated follow-up to Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. Although Disney Plus has introduced a number of new live-action shows set in the Star Wars universe, it’s great to see they’re still focused on creating high-quality animated content as well. They’ll be continuing the tradition with such projects as the upcoming series Tales of the Jedi.
Here’s the new official trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2:
The cast for the new season once again includes Dee Bradley Baker as the voice of the Bad Batch with Michelle Ang as the voice of Omega. Rhea Perlman will also return as the voice of Cid with Noshir Dalal as Vice Admiral Rampart. Wanda Sykes will be making her guest starring debut in the series as Phee Genoa.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch is executive produced by Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, Jennifer Corbett, and Carrie Beck with Josh Rimes and Alex Spotswood as producers. Rau is also serving as supervising director with Corbett as head writer and Matt Michnovetz as story editor.
