After years of waiting, the Indiana Jones film franchise will soon return to theaters for another exciting installment! As you can see below, the official trailer for the fifth film in the series – Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny – has been released online. It promises all the action and heart you can hope for with an Indiana Jones film. And, best of all, fans can see Harrison Ford still has it as he reprises his iconic role.
With that said, the trailer still has most of the plot shrouded in secrecy. But it does appear that Indy is drawn out of some kind of retirement to go one yet another adventure. It also confirms that Indiana Jones is the godfather of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s character. This is exciting to know since fans have been eager to see how she’s involved in the film. And, while while she doesn’t have much screen time in the new trailer, it sure looks like she’ll share some great moments with Harrison Ford.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was directed by James Mangold. The screenplay for the film was written by Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth alongside Mangold.
Harrison Ford returns to reprise his role as the titular adventurer for the Lucasfilm project. The cast for the long-awaited sequel also includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, Antonio Banderas, and Olivier Richters.
