Many fans were alarmed to see that former The Tonight Show host Jay Leno suffered severe gasoline burns following an accident in his garage. At the same time, however, it was revealed that he was in stable condition and simply needed time to rest and recover. Now that Jay Leno has been released from the hospital – he has revealed the burns he received.
As noted via Deadline, on November 21, “Jay Leno was released today from the Grossman Burn Center 10 days after suffering burns to his face, hands and chest in a gasoline fire in his Burbank garage.” As mentioned above, fans were alarmed regarding the severity of the burns. But it’s clear that Jay Leno is going to be just fine – and even Dr. Peter Grossman of the Grossman Burn Center said as much in a statement.
Dr. Peter Grossman claims that he’s “pleased with Jay’s progress,” and furthermore, he notes that he is “optimistic that he will make a full recovery.” Fans can see that Jay Leno is in good spirits despite his burns in a photo released from the center.
