The Saw film franchise will soon be returning with its tenth installment. Interestingly enough, it looks like this film will once again return the franchise’s focus to Tobin Bell’s John Kramer aka Jigsaw. While his character was killed off during the events of the third film, he’s still made the occasional appearance via flashback, and it seems like that is happening yet again here. In any case, it’s great to see Tobin Bell once again returning to his iconic role – as you can see below in the first look at Saw 10.
The photo shows Tobin Bell dressed in dark apparel as he sits on a park bench with a book in hand. He also appears to be speaking with a young boy in the park. However, there are no other details available at this point in time. In any case, one can only imagine what horrors this encounter will likely lead up to.

Now that production on the film is underway, we should hopefully have more details and glimpses in the near future. Hopefully that means we’ll have additional story details revealed or some kind of plot synopsis. In the meantime, it’s great seeing Tobin Bell once again and longtime fans of the franchise will no doubt have satisfaction seeing him reprise his iconic role as Jigsaw. We’ll just have to wait to see what other surprises might be in store for this upcoming installment.
Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter, will be directing this new installment of the franchise. He previously edited the first five Saw films as well in addition to Jigsaw.
This next installment in the Saw film franchise is currently scheduled to be released next year on October 27, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional Saw updates as we have them.
