The Netflix series Stranger Things is intended to come to an end with its fifth season. While there will be an additional spin-off series to keep the brand alive, however, fans are still anxious to see how the fifth season will play out. And, while we still have awhile before the show actually returns, the Duffer Brothers have revealed some exciting details about Stranger Things Season 5 for Stranger Things Day.
As you can see below, via Deadline, they’ve revealed the title of Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 1. The new episode appears to be titled “Chapter One: The Crawl” and features a screenplay written by the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers themselves.
Here it is:
It’s an exciting glimpse at what’s to come. Of course, there are still plenty of details we still don’t know about. One thing is for certain though. With this being the final season of Stranger Things – and given how the fourth season ended – this will more than likely be the biggest season of the show yet. And given comments made by some of the show’s stars, there’s a possibility that we’ll have some character deaths that will be a little too hard to handle. In fact, the Duffer Brothers stated that the show won’t be introducing any new characters – instead focusing on everyone who’s already part of the show. This means we’ll have some of our most character-driven storylines yet. So, as for what The Crawl includes, it looks like we can expect it to be an intense opening for a great season.
The first four seasons of Stranger Things are currently available to view on Netflix. As mentioned above, while the fifth season is set to be the final season of the hit show, there is a spin-off series in the works. Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates on all of these upcoming projects as we have them.
