It’s no surprise that The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has strong feelings against the MAGA movement. After all, he’s used the hit Amazon series The Boys to contain as much satirical humor inspired by such movements as possible. But now Eric Kripke has made a rather specific statement directed towards MAGA while accepting an award at this year’s Saturn Awards ceremony.
At the start of his speech, Eric Kripke took the time to be thankful towards everyone surrounding the series. This included Amazon, Sony, and the director of the show’s pilot, Dan Trachtenberg. Additionally, he gave a tribute to the show’s former production designer Arv Greywal. It was at the end of his speech, however, that he took the opportunity to mention MAGA.
Specifically, Eric Kripke concluded his speech with the following: “Thank you everyone, please vote, fuck MAGA and have a great night.” As you can see in the below video:

As mentioned above, this isn’t exactly a random note to end his speech with. The Boys and its related shows are strongly recognized for the way it satirizes American politics. In fact, the character Homelander is somewhat inspired by Donald Trump. So, with that in mind, it does make sense that Eric Kripke would want to take a last second chance to bash MAGA before getting off the stage.
The cast for the most recent season of The Boys included Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Claudia Doumit. The new cast members included Jensen Ackles, Katia Winter, Miles Gaston Villanueva, Sean Patrick Flanery, Nick Wechsler, Laurie Holden, Frances Turner, Kristin Booth, and Jack Doolan.
Fans can currently stream Amazon’s The Boys on Amazon Prime Video. The fourth season of the hit series is currently in production. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional updates as we have them.
