Although most glimpses are obscured, the Halloween film franchise has often teased what Michael Myers looks like without his iconic mask. This includes the latest trilogy of films, containing Halloween, Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends where the notorious slasher villain is played by James Jude Courtney. The character is placed in a number of scenarios throughout the trilogy which greatly alter his look with each film. Now, as shared below, fans have a new clear look at what Michael Myers looks like unmasked in the newly-released film Halloween Ends.
It’s clear that James Jude Courtney had quite a bit of makeup to wear underneath that mask. In addition to his blind eye prosthetic, an example of an injury Michael Myers suffered in the original film, there are plenty of burn scars from the brutal events of Halloween Kills. Furthermore, it’s clear that his time living in the sewers as left him a bit haggard as well. The film suggests multiple times that Michael Myers is no longer in his prime – and this image is proof of that.
Here’s the image which reveals the unmasked Michael Myers as he appears in Halloween Ends:

It’s more than likely, given the events of Halloween Ends, that this will be the last time James Jude Courtney portrays the character. With that in mind, he certainly gave a very memorable take and most fans have enjoyed his performance. It’s very difficult to live up to the original film’s interpretation – but Courtney certainly did a fantastic job.
David Gordon Green returned to direct Halloween Ends, following his work on its predecessors, Halloween and Halloween Kills.
The cast for the new sequel includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, and Kyle Richards. James Jude Courtney will return to play the role of The Shape alongside original Michael Myers actor Nick Castle.
Fans can currently see Halloween Ends in theaters or streaming on Peacock. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional updates as we have them.
