After decades of waiting, the highly-anticipated sequel Hocus Pocus 2 is finally here. And, in celebration of the film’s release, there’s a special treat in store. A replica of the Sanderson Cottage as used in the production of Hocus Pocus and Hocus Pocus 2 is now available as an Airbnb.
The unique location in Danvers, Massachusetts will be available for booking at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, October 12. The stay is scheduled for one night only on Thursday, October 20. Of course, one night is all it takes to have a memorable experience at the iconic Sanderson Cottage. The description on the Airbnb website also promises some exciting activities for fans of the film franchise.
For example, they note that guests are able to “try their hand at enchantments enshrined in the ancient spellbook that guided us in all our mischief.” Of course, they note, “don’t expect to turn anyone into cats as a result.” They also note that fans can “explore the dark, rich history of Salem with visits to some of the town’s most haunted properties.” And, furthermore, fans will be treated to “a special screening of Hocus Pocus 2.” It certainly sounds like the perfect opportunity for anyone who loves the original film and its new continuation.
Of course, even if you don’t get the one-night stay at the Airbnb location, it’s still a great time to be a Hocus Pocus fan. After all, we’ve finally received Hocus Pocus 2 after decades of anticipation. That’s enough reason to celebrate no matter who wins or loses.
