One of the many exciting announcements made during this year’s D23 Expo by Disney is that the cast for Captain America: New World Order will include Danny Ramirez. MCU fans will recognize the Danny Ramirez character from his appearances in the Disney Plus series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. This particular series set the stage for many future Captain America and Winter Soldier stories, with both Sam Wilson and Bucky at the center of each, and Danny Ramirez is no exception.
As fans know, Danny Ramirez was actually gifted the falcon wings by Sam Wilson. This means Danny Ramirez has become the new Falcon and we’ll be seeing more of this in the new film Captain America: New World Order. With the film also reintroducing Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, a character we last saw in the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk, it’s fascinating to remember how all of these different projects remain interconnected.
Furthermore, it’ll be neat to see how these various characters will work with or against one another in this new sequel.
