After the release of the initial teaser, fans were ecstatic to see more of the Willow series coming to Disney Plus. After all, the series is set to follow the events of a very beloved movie from 1988. So, with that in mind, it makes sense that fans are excited to see what’s in store for the titular character and the rest of his fantasy world. Now Disney has given an additional glimpse at the Willow series with a brand-new trailer from the D23 Expo.
The new trailer lasts just over two minutes, and for those who watch it, you’ll see plenty of exciting moments from the upcoming show. For example, the fantasy setting is illustrated gorgeously with both beautiful vistas and dark locations. And, as one might imagine, there are stunning creatures, horrifying villains, and great new characters to follow.

It’s likely that we still might have additional glimpses at the series within the next few months. This trailer, however, is a perfect demonstration for how Disney Plus will expand the world of Willow. After so many years of discussions, it’s great to see this project get off the ground, and with returning cast member Warwick Davis no less.
Warwick Davis will return as the titular character Willow Ufgood. The rest of the main cast includes Erin Kellyman, Ellie Bamber, Tony Revolori, Ruby Cruz, Amer Chadha-Patel, Dempsey Bryk, and Talisa Garcia. Rosabell Laurenti Sellers and Ralph Ineson have also joined the cast of the series.
Fans will be able to stream Willow via Disney Plus on November 30, 2022. With only a few months left before the series is finally released, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional updates as we have them. As for now, it’s nice to have another reminder that the classic film is finally receiving its long-awaited follow-up.
