We’ve been seeing a similar pattern with newly-released Marvel shows on Disney Plus. Many of these shows are being review bombed either just before or right after their premieres. Now She-Hulk is the latest victim of being review bombed.
Despite not premiering until today, the series was being review bombed ahead of its release date. Many IMDb users have been posting numerous one-out-of-ten ratings. In fact, as of this writing, they seem to be making up nearly 50% of the votes on the platform.
Interestingly enough, the other near 50% belongs to users that have given the series a ten-out-of-ten rating. It’s certainly interesting – and also interesting that most of the negative reviews appear to come from older men.
Meanwhile, both women and younger men seem to be leaving most of the positive reviews.
Alright, so, I saw a number of tweets talking about the She-hulk show and how it’s being review bombed
Since it keeps showing up, might as well give my 2 cents out there:
The show isn’t out yet (comes out tomorrow), I don’t trust ANY of these reviews, positive or negative 1/3 pic.twitter.com/roJK1g9w2G

There are already a half-dozen articles complaining about she-hulk being “review-bombed” There are significantly MORE perfect 10/10 scores from people who ALSO have not seen the show yet…fucking clowns. pic.twitter.com/TZuJOwQ4wA

Of course, IMDb will more than likely sort through the spam and clear things up for She-Hulk as they have with previous review bombed shows. And, as the series continues to air on Disney Plus, we’ll have a more accurate idea of what the audience’s reception is. Many of the early reviews ended up quite positive – so it’s likely that general audiences will still find the series to be of interest regardless of negative reviews. As such, stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional updates regarding the newest Disney Plus series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we have them.
The exciting cast for the series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. She’ll be joined by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka Hulk. Tim Roth will also reprise his role as Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and the aforementioned Jameela Jamil also star.
The new Marvel Cinematic Universe series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is available on Disney Plus.
