With all of the new Comic-Con announces, it’s hard not to be excited for the Marvel Cinematic Universe projects that are on the way. For example, many of these projects will be further introducing Kang the Conqueror – one of the most iconic villains from Marvel Comics. The character will first be introduced more fully in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and now we’ve gotten our first look at Kang thanks to a brand-new poster.
The poster was shared by Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park. He explained that not only did he illustrate the image, but that it was an honor “to work again w/ @MrPeyton Reed #PaulRudd @EvangelineLilly & 1st time Cassie @kathrynnewton & KANG #JonathanMajors”
Here’s the new poster including our first look at Kang:

While it doesn’t reveal too much about the upcoming film, we do get a good look at our three protagonists’ in their iconic superhero suits. The red, purple, and yellow colors all blend quite well together and especially in front of the blue spectral colors. Furthermore, fans can also easily see Kang the Conqueror painting into the background, looking ahead at what appears to be both our protagonists and possibly those looking at the artwork themselves. Hopefully we’ll have some additional looks at the film soon and perhaps some live-action glimpses at Kang next.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is being directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay written by Jeff Loveness.
The confirmed cast for the film includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, and Jonathan Majors.
Fans will be able to see the highly-anticipated MCU sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania on February 17, 2023. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for additional updates on the film and other such Marvel Cinematic Universe projects as we have them. It’s definitely a great time to be a fan of the superhero franchise.
