The Marvel Cinematic Universe will gradually be introducing the many superhero characters they’ve reacquired from Fox. This, of course, includes the likes of the X-Men and the Fantastic Four. We actually already saw a member from each of these teams introduced in the new Doctor Strange film. Of course, these are also variant characters, and not how they’ll necessarily be introduced in the main MCU. So with that said, it’s expected that many of those characters will be recast. Of course, many fans would still prefer to see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the MCU, and now a new tweet might mean it’s finally happening.
As fans can imagine, the tweet is actually incredible vague. Although there’s no information given, there certainly must be a reason for having posted the tweet in the first place.
Many MCU fans are hoping that this is Hugh Jackman’s way of saying he’s coming to the MCU.
Here’s the tweet:

As you can continue to see below, many fans have been responding with their own surprised reactions and questions. Although Hugh Jackman has yet to respond to anything connected to this post, here are some of the questions:
When you see the amount of money you’ll get for playing Wolverine again

What is this Hugh? Are you gonna be in the MCU. You can tell me.

Fans are clearly excited to see Hugh Jackman involved with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether or not it will happen, however, remains to be confirmed. But it’s certainly an exciting possibility.
It’s also worth saying that Ryan Reynolds has already emphasized his desire to work with Hugh Jackman in a Deadpool movie. Since we do know Reynolds is involved with Deadpool 3, which will be set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it does seem likely that Jackman’s last Wolverine appearance could be saved for the sequel – if he decided to go that route. As such, we’ll just have to wait and see on that front. Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates as we have them.
