It’s been previously reported that Amber Heard plans to appeal the verdict that went in favor of Johnny Depp. The two have recently been involved in quite the legal debacle, where they’ve been continuously alleging the other of domestic abuse. Johnny Depp claimed that Amber Heard defamed him as a result, beginning their most recent lawsuit, which Johnny Depp managed to win. Now, in addition to her plans to appeal, it turns out that Amber Heard is planning to write a “tell-all” book about her marriage to Johnny Depp.
This was revealed via OK! Magazine, where they revealed Amber Heard reportedly signed a multi-million dollar book deal. But it isn’t just to get her side of the story out to the public. Apparently, Amber Heard is also using this as a method to make money.
As their source stated:
“Amber considers her career in Hollywood over. She’s already in talks and is excited about it. At this point, she has nothing to lose and wants to tell all,” they began.
Furthermore, they stated Amber Heard is “broke” and that she is not “in a position to turn down money.” This is quite important to note because after winning the verdict, Johnny Depp was awarded $10 million. And it just doesn’t seem like Amber Heard is in the right position to pay such an amount.
Of course, Johnny Depp’s legal team has previously suggested he might not even make Amber Heard pay the money, since he’s mostly cleared his name in the court of public opinion.
In any case, it seems like Amber Heard has a score she’d like to settle one way or another. But if she does write this “tell-all” book, it could very easily be another defamation lawsuit in the works against Amber Heard. As such, this debacle seems to be far from over.
