In a similar fashion to Hocus Pocus and many other Disney classics, watching the Santa Clause movies starring Tim Allen have become holiday traditions. Many families spend each year watching the 1994 film The Santa Clause and its two sequels released in 2002 and 2006, respectively. As such, with the Disney Plus streaming service at its disposal, Disney is working on an entire Santa Clause TV series. The new series, titled The Santa Clauses, features Tim Allen once again and many other familiar characters.
Now fans can see the first image from The Santa Clauses down below.

It’s certainly exciting to see Disney returning to the Santa Clause franchise after so many years. It’s been a long time away from the storyline and now is a more perfect time than ever to revisit our beloved characters. With Tim Allen returning as well, there are plenty of reasons to be excited. And now that the first image for The Santa Clauses has been released, we’ll hopefully have many more glimpses at the upcoming Disney Plus series in the near future.
While the cast once again stars Tim Allen reprising his role from the film franchise, Elizabeth Mitchell will also be reprising her role as Mrs. Claus. The cast also includes Kal Penn as Simon Choksi, Matilda Lawler as Betty, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra, Austin Kane as Cal, Rupali Redd as Grace, and Devin Bright as Noel.
A release date for The Santa Clauses has yet to be given. But considering the subject matter, it’s more than likely that the series will be released at some point during the holiday season. As such, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates as we have them.
