The Marvel Cinematic Universe recently reintroduced characters from the hit Netflix series Daredevil. The aforementioned series was a massive hit on the streaming service, helping pave the way for the live-action MCU shows that Disney Plus is so eagerly distributing. Of course, for quite awhile, it was unclear what would happen with the property. After all, Daredevil along with the other Marvel shows on Netflix were prematurely cancelled. And considering Marvel Studios wasn’t directly involved with any of them, it seemed likely that they could all be ignored going forward. Luckily, however, fans were surprised when Vincent D’Onofrio appeared in Hawkeye as Kingpin and Charlie Cox appeared as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now a new gym picture suggests a further return from Vincent D’Onofrio.
You can see below, Vincent D’Onofrio took the opportunity to take a photo during his visit to the gym. Although the actor emphasized that he’s currently 63-years-old, it’s obvious that he’s not allowing his age to hold him back. In fact, given how fit he appears in the picture, he is doing quite the opposite. And some fans believe that his recent visit to the gym is to prepare Vincent D’Onofrio for another appearance as Kingpin.
As he stated in the caption for the photo:
“63 but who’s counting #NoFearNoGreedNoEnvy”

As noted above, Vincent D’Onofrio appeared in Hawkeye as the fan-favorite Marvel villain. However, it also appeared that he was murdered by Maya Lopez. But as some fans know, especially those familiar with the comics, you just can’t keep Kingpin down so easily. Thus, many believe that he’ll be utilized as an antagonist in the upcoming Disney Plus series Echo. With the series focused on Maya Lopez, it seems likely that Kingpin will once more be involved.
With that said, there’s also the possibility that Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin could be appearing alongside Charlie Cox’s Daredevil for Disney’s planned Daredevil revival. This means there are plenty of chances for Kingpin to pop up in the near future, so fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for further updates as we have them.
