Many fans are hyped for She-Hulk, otherwise known as She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which will be the first sitcom-styled series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The official trailer for the Disney Plus series was released not long ago, and fans got their first look at Tatiana Maslany’s take on the titular character. While some fans were surprised by the different in quality and design when compared to Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, it still excited many other MCU fans. Now actress Ginger Gonzaga has teased that the She-Hulk series will feature plenty of “cool feminist commentary.”
Ginger Gonzaga revealed as much while speaking in an interview with Bell Media. She began by explaining that her time working on the series “was the best.” Furthermore, she also had nothing but kind words to say for star Tatiana Maslany.
She began by saying Maslany is “such a natural, amazing actor, and so fun, and so professional. I can’t say enough things about her, or it’ll sound like I’m being dishonest, which is amazing.”
While adding that the series, which brings back Mark Ruffalo as Smart-Hulk, is “just so fun and silly,” she also noted that it has “smart satire.”
As referenced above, she specified that She-Hulk has “a lot of really cool feminist commentary, so it’s exciting.”
It certainly sounds as though She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will be something quite different for Disney Plus subscribers to watch. Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates as we have them.
The exciting cast for the series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. She’ll be joined by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka Hulk. Tim Roth will also reprise his role as Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. The aforementioned Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Jameela Jamil also star.
The new MCU series She-Hulk will be premiering on Disney Plus on August 17, 2022.
