Fans have been ecstatic this year to finally see Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. After one of last year’s very successful Marvel Cinematic Universe films, Spider-Man: No Way Home, showed what the Multiverse was capable of – fans had no idea what to expect with the new Doctor Strange sequel. While some rumors about the film turned out to be false – other reports including one of our own were very true. As such, the film became a hit in theaters, and now it turns out that Doctor Strange 2 will be released on Disney Plus way sooner than expected.
As revealed via Disney Plus in the below Twitter post, which also features a small promotional video:
“Take a trip back into the Multiverse,” the post begins. “Marvel Studios’ #DoctorStrange in the Multiverse of Madness is streaming June 22 on #DisneyPlus.”

With so much positive reception from both MCU and non-MCU fans, it’ll be an exciting time for anyone interested in the Doctor Strange sequel.
Of course, now it’s also time to start looking forward to the next iteration of the Doctor Strange film franchise.
