Disney Plus has been a massive platform for the Star Wars film franchise, giving a place for a wide number of new shows to be released. While most of these new shows have been live-action, there are still several new animated shows being distributed on Disney Plus. This includes Star Wars: The Bad Batch, a successor to Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and one that will be getting a second season later this year. As such, an official trailer has finally been released for The Bad Batch Season 2.
The new trailer shows that the season will continue many of the plot lines of the first season while pushing things forward. With the series being set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, there’s certainly a lot of room for transformation within the Star Wars galaxy. And The Bad Batch looks like the perfect place to showcase that.
Here’s the new trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2:
While most of the plot details have yet to be revealed, there are certainly going to be some big revelations this season. The previous season not only showed the introduction of the Galactic Empire, but how Clone Troopers were reformed into Storm Troopers. Furthermore, we got to see the decision to make normal civilizations into soldiers as opposed to clones. The season ultimately ended with the destruction of the cloning facilities on Kamino, so seeing where Season 2 takes things will be exciting.
The voice cast of the series includes Dee Bradley Baker, Archie Panjabi, Michelle Ang, Rhea Perlman, Bobby Moynihan, Freddie Prinze Jr., Taran Killiam, Seth Green and more.
Fans will be able to see Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 on Disney Plus sometime in Fall 2022. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for further updates on the highly-anticipated Star Wars animated series as we have them.
