While we haven’t seen a new season of The Mandalorian since the second season was released in 2020, the Star Wars franchise hasn’t really stopped. In fact, many plotlines from The Mandalorian were expanded upon during The Book of Boba Fett. Nevertheless, fans are still eager to see a proper third season of The Mandalorian, and the good news is that we’re closer than ever to getting it. While it won’t be released until next year, the first trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 was released during the 2022 Star Wars Celebration. Now this same trailer for The Mandalorian Season 3 has leaked online.
As you can imagine, the trailer has already been targeted by Disney and they’ve been removing copies online. Despite this, however, descriptions of the footage from the Star Wars Celebration are still making their way across the web – and we’ve managed to find one of the leaked trailers.
Check it out below:
If you’re too late, we do have a description, as revealed via SFF Gazette, the trailer reveals the following plot details and sequences:
“Primarily focusing on Din Djarin, Grogu, Bo-Katan Kryze, and Greef Karga, we learn that Mando plans to return to Mandalore in a bid for redemption, though it looks like he’ll need some help. Bo-Katan will clearly be key to that, though whether The Clone Wars hero can be trusted when she’s so keen to get her hands on the Darksaber remains to be seen. There are also some great action shots and plenty of the expected cuteness with The Child.”
While there are still leaked copies of the Season 3 trailer for The Mandalorian online, they are getting tricky to track down. But if you’re really eager to find them, you shouldn’t have a problem. Hopefully Disney and Lucasfilm will rectify the situation altogether though and just release the footage officially. Stay tuned for that as we have it.
The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to be released on Disney Plus at some point in 2023. Now that the trailer has been revealed at the 2022 Star Wars Celebration and leaked online, it seems likely that we’ll have more details and hopefully footage released publicly soon. Until then, there are still plenty of other Star Wars projects to enjoy – including the newly-released Obi-Wan Kenobi series.
