When the first trailer for the upcoming Disney Plus series She-Hulk was released online, fans of the MCU were divisive to say the least. While some were looking forward to the expansion, others were upset by the show’s CGI which seemed to be less than expected by fans. With several months left before the series is officially released, many were hoping that it was merely the result of premature rendering and that the final product would be of much higher quality. Well, that does seem to be the case, as the She-Hulk trailer has been re-released with improved CGI.
Disney Plus finally placed the She-Hulk trailer on their own service, and unlike the compression that comes with YouTube, fans can see the footage in all of its proper glory. As such, the visual effects used to bring the titular character look much better. For example, lighting has become much more noticeable and thus realistic against the character’s green skin. While it might not seem like that big of a deal, it does add a lot of depth and dimension to the character that otherwise wasn’t there before.

When you consider how many months we still have before She-Hulk hits Disney Plus, it’s likely that even more CGI and VFX work will still be completed by then. As such, we’ll probably continue to see the design of She-Hulk improve and evolve. This should certainly put any worried fans at ease. Of course, we’ll just have to wait until the series is officially released to know for sure.
The exciting cast for the series stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. She’ll be joined by Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka Hulk. Tim Roth will also reprise his role as Emil Blonsky aka the Abomination from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Jameela Jamil also star.
The new MCU series She-Hulk will be premiering on Disney Plus on August 17, 2022.
