After several years of waiting, the Netflix series Stranger Things is soon set to return. Fans have been eager to see the new season which has been promised to be the scariest so far. Now fans can get their first taste of what’s to come, as Netflix has made the first 8 minutes of Stranger Things Season 4 available online.
The footage that was shared reveals Eleven’s past with Dr. Brenner. Millie Bobby Brown once again plays Eleven while Matthew Modine returns to play Dr. Brenner. It’s a dark sequence and undoubtedly sets the stage for a season that will continue to be much more grim and horrific than what we’ve seen so far. For those fans who are eager to return to the world of Hawkins and beyond, this new season is certainly set to deliver.

With about a week to go before Stranger Things makes its grand return on Netflix, the first 8 minutes of this new season are a pleasant surprise to see. Luckily, fans won’t have much longer to wait before getting to see the first volume of Season 4. Thus this should hopefully hold fans over until then. With that said, stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any further updates as we have them.
As for the setup of the new season…
“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
The first volume of episodes will be released on May 27. The second volume of episodes will be released on July 1. This season will be followed by an upcoming fifth and final season intended to wrap up the storyline of Stranger Things.
