An official teaser trailer has been released for Netflix’s upcoming Resident Evil series. The new show will be a live-action series inspired by the iconic video game franchise. Fans have been eager to know how the show will fit in with the franchise’s existing lore, especially after so many other adaptations have been made. Now the new teaser trailer gives a glimpse at what to expect for this new Resident Evil project.
As you can see below, the footage contains multiple time periods, zombies, monsters, and many of our main characters. Of course, the action is quick, so don’t expect too many story details to be revealed. Still, it’s great to see actual footage from the upcoming series so long after its initial announcement.

It’s been stated that this first season of the show will last for eight episodes. They’ve been written/executive produced by Mary Leah Sutton, with producers also including Robert Kulzer, Oliver Berben, and Martin Moszkowicz of Constantin Film. Meanwhile, Andrew Dabb is also attached as an executive producer.
As for the plot…

The upcoming Resident Evil series from Netflix stars actor Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker. The cast also includes Ella Balinska, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, Paola Nunez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gossatti, and Turlough Convery.
