Moviegoers have waited for years to see what director James Cameron has in store for Avatar: The Way of Water, the upcoming sequel to Avatar. The sequel has been through quite a few delays, but it’s scheduled to finally be released later this year – around 13 years after its predecessor. As such, the marketing campaign is set to kick into high gear soon, and fans recently got their first look at the film before Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as the trailer was attached to that film.
Of course, most links to the leaked trailer have so far been removed – and the footage below will likely be removed as well. Interestingly, many of the fans were blown away by the footage. Even the ones that weren’t fond of the footage, saying there wasn’t anything appealing for them, noted that it was still “visually stunning.”
