Now that Marvel fans have waited long enough, the highly-anticipated release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is finally upon us. Fans have waited through all of the rumors and leaks to see what was what with the Doctor Strange sequel, and now we know that there are two post-credits scenes included in the film. Of course, most Marvel movies do tend to have post-credits scenes attached. But with this Doctor Strange sequel being part of the Multiverse, many fans were anxious to know what direction they would go in.

Now, with obvious spoilers, we have the descriptions for the leaked Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness post-credits scenes below.

The first scene includes an appearance from Charlize Theron. It was previously rumored that the character she’s portraying, named Clea, would be appearing. Clea is a character from the comics that’s related to Dormammu. It was also said she would only be appearing in the film in a limited capacity – and now we know why. The character is merely featured in a post-credits scene. She only happens to appear in a Multiverse portal, as Doctor Strange is shown walking down the street, and she quickly asks for help.

It’s unclear how similar she’ll be to her comic book counterpart, but Clea was a well-trained magic user that was taught by Stephen Strange. In fact, they even become romantically involved at one point and she manages to become the Sorcerer Supreme. As such, it’ll be interesting to see where the MCU will take her character.

The next scene includes Bruce Campbell who appeared earlier in the film as a street vendor. At that point in the movie, Strange cast a spell on him which forced him to punch himself for three weeks. Now in the post-credits scene, we see the spell has faded away, to which Bruce Campbell announces:

    “It’s over.”

Bruce Campbell has often made cameo appearances in Sam Raimi’s films, and fans have known since production started that he’d be appearing in this one. Of course, it was unclear what role he’d have, and now we know. Bruce Campbell first starred in Sam Raimi’s directorial debut, The Evil Dead, and its subsequent follow-ups. He also had some fan-favorite cameos in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. So it’s nice to see this tradition continue with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
