The upcoming film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is no doubt going to be a massive film for the MCU. After the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which showed audiences what was possible with the Multiverse, it seemed likely that many other cameos would be appearing in the Doctor Strange sequel. One such cameo was rumored to have been spotted in the first trailer, in which fans believed they saw Superior Iron Man. It’s been rumored for quite some time that actor Tom Cruise would be playing this variant of Iron Man, and while that would be cool to see, he certainly isn’t the character from the trailer. Indeed, that Doctor Strange rumor has now been debunked.
It’s been revealed since in new footage for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that this character is actually a variant of Captain Marvel. While it’s unclear which variant of Captain Marvel is in the trailer, that’s enough for the aforementioned Doctor Strange rumor to have been debunked. Now, to further shut down any potential rumors, insider KC Walsh has taken to Twitter.
As you can see below, a fan asked how much screen time Superior Iron Man has. Unfortunately for those hoping for a promising answer, KC Walsh instead replied with a gif that gives the following number:
“Zero.”
