The Marvel Cinematic Universe has plenty of dedicated fans, and the success of massive releases for films like Spider-Man: No Way Home are proof of that. However, one fan took things to the next level, and actually got featured in the Guinness World Records for how many times he chose to watch Spider-Man: No Way Home in theaters. This particular fan, Ramiro Alanis from Florida, actually managed to watch the film 292 times.
In order to accomplish this, via Guinness World Records, Ramiro Alanis watched No Way Home 292 times in theaters from December 16, 2021, all the way until March 15, 2022. This ultimately added up to 720 hours of watching the film. In his effort to celebrate the news, Ramiro Alanis recorded a video for Twitter.
Here it is below:

It’s worth noting, interestingly, that this isn’t the first time that Ramiro Alanis broke the record. As explained:
“Ramiro previously achieved this record in 2019 with 191 viewings of Avengers: Endgame, but it was broken in 2021 by Arnaud Klein, who watched Kaamelott: First Instalment 204 times.”
It appears that Ramiro wanted to maintain the record as a tribute to his late grandmother. She passed before she could see Ramiro Alanis break the record for the first time in 2019, so when Spider-Man: No Way Home was released, he decided to give it another go with the new Spider-Man entry.
“He decided to attempt the record again in honour of his grandmother Juany, who passed away in 2019 before she could see Ramiro earn his Guinness World Records title.”
He had the following statement on the matter:
“She was my #1 supporter and I want to remain the record holder,” he said.
Although he did offer a word of warning for anyone eager to try and beat his record yet again:
“If anyone tries to break my record again, I want them to think twice before attempting it.”
It’s worth noting that the MCU film Spider-Man: No Way Home is now one of the highest-grossing films of all time, so it’s fitting that Ramiro Alanis broke his previous record with a record-breaking film.
