Ezra Miller has been a major topic after the young actor was apparently arrested in Hawaii. After his arrest, a restraining order was placed against him when a couple alleged that Miller threatened to kill them. It was then reported soon after that Warner Bros was holding an emergency meeting to discuss what to do with Ezra Miller. But now another report suggests that no such meetings have been held.
This report comes via IGN, where one of their sources insisted Warner Bros did not hold the aforementioned emergency meeting regarding Ezra Miller. They also noted that the claims were actually “exaggeration.”
As stated:
“A source with the studio has rebuked the original report from Rolling Stone, telling IGN that no such emergency meeting took place and dismissing the claims as exaggeration.”
After Warner Bros cut ties with actor Johnny Depp following allegations of domestic abuse, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them do the same with Ezra Miller. As such, many DC and Harry Potter fans are awaiting some kind of update to see what comes of Ezra Miller’s career and future with the studio. While they might not be having an emergency meeting as urgent as the one previously reported, it seems likely that they’ll take some kind of action regarding the situation. With that said, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates as we have them.
For now, however, it looks like Ezra Miller could still have some kind of ties to Warner Bros. Especially considering their role in the upcoming film The Flash. The film might’ve been delayed until next year, but a majority of the project has already been shot, and with Ezra Miller in the lead. It’s clear that no matter what route the studio takes, it could be quite tricky going forward.
