Actor Ezra Miller has recently become the center of attention for both DC and Harry Potter fans. Unfortunately, it’s due to the actor’s ongoing legal troubles which included a recent arrest in Hawaii. It appears that Warner Bros has even initiated a series of emergency meetings in order to discuss Ezra Miller and their future with the company.
This information comes via Rolling Stone, and it appears that the actor’s future projects have been paused as a result. Furthermore, it appears that any public appearances scheduled for Ezra Miller have been canceled. Interestingly, it was also noted by an insider that Ezra Miller had “frequent meltdowns” while working on The Flash. However, these outbursts don’t seem to have been as violent as their recent altercations. Instead, Ezra Miller appears to have been “losing it” as a result of high stress.
As the insider explained:
“Ezra would get a thought in [their] head and say, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing,’” they stated.
The report also states:
According to a knowledgeable source, the consensus in the room was to hit pause on any future projects involving Miller including possible appearances in the DC Cinematic Universe.
As of this writing, representatives for both Ezra Miller and Warner Bros have refused to comment on the matter. It’s clear that they have a lot on the table with this situation, especially considering Ezra Miller’s association with both the Harry Potter and DC franchises. He’s playing a major character in each franchise, with the intention to have obviously been for Ezra Miller to continue making appearances. But at this rate, it seems unlikely that will still be the case. So however Warner Bros decides to approach the situation will be a massive decision.
For example, Warner Bros previously cut ties with actor Johnny Depp, after allegations that he had abused his ex-wife Amber Heard. It’s possible that Warner Bros will take a similar course of action when it comes to Ezra Miller. Of course, we’ll just have to wait and see how the situation progresses. But as of this moment, things are not looking good at all for Ezra Miller.
