There’s a lot of anticipation for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the upcoming sequel to Black Panther. The film is expected to act as both a proper sequel to its predecessor Black Panther, but also set the stage for further Marvel Cinematic Universe installments. This includes the upcoming Disney Plus series Ironheart. As such, the film has quite the cast involved. Interestingly, however, it appears that one major actor from the first film has only now been hinted to return for Wakanda Forever.
In particular, costume designer Stacy Caballero has noted that she worked on the upcoming film in her resume. While that doesn’t reveal much about the film at first glance, she specifically mentioned a variety of cast members that she outfitted for the project. This includes none other than major actor Daniel Kaluuya, which seemingly confirms his involvement in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
As fans may recall, Daniel Kaluuya played Border Tribe head of security W’Kabi in the previous Black Panther film. So while his involvement in the upcoming sequel hadn’t previously been confirmed, it certainly makes sense that he’d be back for an appearance. Especially with the following that he’s gained as an actor in recent years, it would’ve been silly on Disney’s part not to have given him some screen time. Of course, this has yet to be officially confirmed, so fans should still wait for further updates on Daniel Kaluuya’s alleged involvement in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in the near future.
The new film is only months away at this point, so we’ll probably have more news sooner or later. With such an exciting cast participating in the film’s production, there will certainly be other such surprises along the way to the film’s release date. Until then, we’ll just have to continue waiting.
Fans will be able to see the highly-anticipated Black Panther sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, later this year on November 11, 2022.
