With the highly-anticipated Disney Plus series She-Hulk still in its finishing stages, fans are anxious for any and all news on the project. While there were reports that the production has been somewhat troubled, many hope that it’s merely the pressure of building a great, ambitious project. In fact, She-Hulk is hinted to be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first genuine sitcom, so it makes sense that things might be taking additional time to get right. With that said, there has been one rumor about the show’s cast that might’ve just been confirmed. According to the rumor, none other than rapper Megan Thee Stallion will appear in the MCU series.
This rumor was potentially confirmed as truth by Cosmic Circus, where they noticed an interesting listing. In particular, they noted that stunt performer Marche Day was listed on STUNT POC, and one of their projects included the She-Hulk series. Furthermore, it stated that they were a stunt double for Megan Thee Stallion in the aforementioned Marvel Studios project. It’s worth noting that they’ve been listed as a double for other cast members on Marvel Cinematic Universe projects Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Loki, and Hawkeye.
So while it still hasn’t been publicly confirmed that Megan Thee Stallion is part of the series, this is still a pretty solid piece of evidence. It’s also interesting that Megan Thee Stallion would have a stunt double on the series. While it’d make sense for Megan Thee Stallion to simply appear for a small cameo as a fictionalized version of herself for the series, having a stunt double implies she’ll be much more involved. As such, we may have more updates on her involvement soon.
At this rate, She-Hulk is certainly shaping up to be an interesting addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With so many projects in development for both the big screen and television, it’ll be interesting to see how this “half-hour legal comedy” fits into the franchise.
The Disney Plus series She-Hulk is expected to hit the Disney Plus streaming platform later this year. As such, fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates on the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe project as we have them.
