While actor Ezra Miller has become a fan-favorite for his performance as DC superhero The Flash, the actor has now found himself in trouble. It’s been revealed that Ezra Miller was arrested in Hawaii after an altercation occurred at a bar. Although this isn’t the first real-life incident the actor has found themselves in, it’s certainly still a disappointing one.
As revealed via Hawaii News Now, the actor was visiting a Karaoke bar. At a certain point, he became quite unruly and irrational. This included his charges of disorderly conduct and harassment.
Here’s what was stated happened:
“According to police, the arrest stemmed from an incident at a karaoke bar on Silva Street on Sunday. The 29-year-old was allegedly yelling obscenities and became agitated when people began singing karaoke.
At one point, police say Miller grabbed the microphone from a 23-year-old woman who was mid-song.
Police said Miller later lunged at a 32-year-old man playing darts.”
The actor was asked to leave multiple times by the owner of the bar, but Ezra Miller refused to leave. As such, Ezra Miller “was arrested, charged and released after posting $500 bail.” As of this writing, no statement has been given on behalf of Ezra Miller or Warner Bros. It’s likely that his upcoming film projects, which include Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and The Flash, will continue as planned. But at this rate, Ezra Miller is certainly showing signs of questionable behavior.
Fans can stay tuned to ScreenGeek for more updates on this situation and Ezra Miller as we have them. For the time being, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 15, 2022. As for The Flash, fans of the DC superhero will be able to see that film in theaters on June 23, 2023, since its 2022 release date scheduled for this year was delayed.
