We’re in the phase between The Book of Boba Fett and the upcoming miniseries Obi-Wan Kenobi, and soon it’ll be time to look forward to The Mandalorian Season 3. Disney has been busy with producing a wide variety of Star Wars shows for Disney Plus, many of which were immediately greenlit after the success of The Mandalorian. Now with the third season of their flagship series on the way, fans are anxious to see what Disney has in store. Now according to a recent leak, it looks like it could include the return of a missing character from the second season of The Mandalorian.
Fans who’ve seen the second season will remember that Bo-Katan Kryze was first introduced with two companions. One of these companions, however, was missing in the finale. It was none other than Axe Woves, a Mandalorian played by Simon Kassianides. Now, as noted in the leak from Bespin Bulletin, it looks like Simon Kassianides will return for the third season.
As you can see in the Mandalorian leak below:

Many fans have questioned what happened to the character since his absence was not addressed during the season finale of The Mandalorian Season 2. Now that he’s apparently shooting scenes for the third season, we might just get some answers. Or, at the very least, some additional continuity. Either way, it looks like we’ll be seeing more of Bo-Katan Kryze and her companion(s) going forward. Now that Din Djarin has the Darksaber, it’ll certainly make for an interesting story to see how she reacts. Especially given her noted frustration at the end of the second season. There’s definitely going to be a lot of tension, and with these companions also involved, there will be plenty of allies and enemies to be made.
The third season of The Mandalorian is currently expected to be released on Disney Plus at some point in late 2022.
