With all of the different Marvel shows being produced for Disney Plus, the potential for storytelling has expanded exponentially. This also includes the potential for crossovers, and according to a new look leak, it looks like there could be some major Spider-Man references coming in Ms. Marvel.
These references were caught in a photo leak for the upcoming series, where images from reshoots have surfaced online. Aside from revealing the show’s Khan in her Captain Marvel-esque uniform, the images also reveal her fighting off some type of mechanical drones. As those who are familiar with the MCU will know, these drones look incredibly familiar. Specifically, they look like the ones used by Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
As revealed via @CosmicMMedia on Twitter, there are drones in Ms. Marvel that look similar to the ones from Spider-Man: Far From Home:

Obviously they aren’t identical to the ones from Spider-Man: Far From Home, but it’s possible they might be made to look even more similar during post-production. Either way, they do seem to have the same diamond symbol painted on as the ones from Far From Home, so it does seem likely that they come from the same source. In fact, it’s possible they want to emphasize just how dangerous that the technology used by Stark Industries can be. With Marvel working on an Armor Wars series, it seems like a good setup for that show’s storyline.
As such, these drones will play a great part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and tying these different properties together. With the past, present, and future surrounding these drones – it’ll definitely make Ms. Marvel an exciting series to catch once it’s released. The show is currently undergoing reshoots, with a release date expected for 2022.
