Actor Moses J. Moseley was perhaps best known for the variety of roles he played on The Walking Dead. While he first played one of Michonne’s pet walkers, he went on to play several other walker characters throughout the duration of the series. What’s more, he also played a human character named Mike. Unfortunately, it’s now been announced that Moses J. Moseley has died at age 31.
This news was revealed via Deadline, where they noted that Moses J. Moseley was found dead in Stockbridge, Georgia. The body was located near his car by police sometime after he was first reported missing.
The following statement was given by his representative to TODAY:
“Moses was so loved by so many. He always had a smile (on his) face and the most positive attitude,” they stated. “Moses was very close to his family especially his sister Teerea and shared with her his goals for his future.
“We are extremely (saddened) about the loss of Moses, he was a beautiful person with a heart of gold and an extremely talent actor. Anyone who knew Moses was truly blessed to have him in their lives.”
Many fellow cast members from The Walking Dead have expressed their condolences, and even the show’s television network AMC tweeted the following caption:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with our #TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley”

This is truly sad news, and it goes to show how much of an impact he made on the series even without being one of the original leads. His performances added a lot to the series, and his acting career expanded beyond the show as well. Some of his other roles includes appearances on the HBO limited series Watchmen and the USA Network series Queen of the South. Moses J. Moseley also had several uncredited film roles as well, which included major blockbusters such as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
