One of the most promising Marvel Cinematic Universe projects currently in production is Secret Invasion, which will tell a rather interesting storyline from Marvel comic books. Of course, as of this moment, there isn’t much known about the show’s plot or course of direction with the source material. As such, it’s unknown just how close to the comics it’ll be or how it could be changed to better fit the MCU. One thing that’s for sure is that Ben Mendelsohn will reprise his role as Talos for the upcoming Secret Invasion Disney Plus series.
The Skrull character was last seen in Spider-Man: Far From Home, following his appearance in Captain Marvel, in which he had taken the form of Nick Fury. Now we’ll see the results of this mission in Secret Invasion, which will also bring back Samuel L. Jackson as the aforementioned Nick Fury. Indeed, this is a storyline that’s been years in the making for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now with production on Secret Invasion currently ongoing, a new set video has revealed actor Ben Mendelsohn is in front of the cameras yet again. The video shows the actor in Leeds, England where production is currently taking place. He’s walking in costume and even asks the crowd “Am I late?” before entering an unknown building. As you can see below:

There’s also an image of the actor working with Samuel L. Jackson, and Jackson is clear to be having a good time. Although it’s unknown if his laughter is because of his character or he’s just laughing in general.

In any case, it’ll be exciting to see the actors together again and in the midst of the Secret Invasion storyline. There’s a lot of potential to do some exciting things with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in this series, so here’s hoping it delivers.
It’s become expected that the Secret Invasion series will most likely premiere on Disney Plus sometime in 2023.
