The many filmmakers behind the Star Wars franchise are usually hard at work with keeping fans immersed in the galaxy from far, far away. Of course, there is the occasional mistake that ends up caught on camera – some more obvious than others. With television, it becomes even easier to slip up with the immense production schedules and chaotic workloads. As it turns out, this is the case with the Disney Plus series The Book of Boba Fett. One eagle-eyed fan managed to spot an interesting mistake on The Book of Boba Fett, which might just break immersion for those who’ve been otherwise enamored by the show.
The mistake was shared by this fan on TikTok, where they noted the mistake from Episode 3 of The Book of Boba Fett. Specifically, they pointed out that there’s a piece of exposed wood from a faux building on one of the Tatooine sets. It’s more than a little jarring.

It goes to show that even the Star Wars franchise is susceptible to the occasional mistake or goof. Of course, many fans already know this – especially with mistakes like those found on The Mandalorian having gone viral in the past. The original trilogy is also known for some rather iconic mistakes, but it seems to be in this day of the internet that things really catch on with audiences and become viral memes. As was the case with similar shows like Game of Thrones having mistakenly left in a Starbucks coffee cup. But perhaps that’s one of the enjoyable aspects of watching shows and films as well.
In any case, as of this writing, Disney Plus’s The Book of Boba Fett is still ongoing. New episodes of the seven episode first season are being added to the Disney Plus streaming service each Wednesday.
