There’s a lot of hype for Amazon’s upcoming Lord of the Rings TV series, which is set to be the most expensive television series ever made. The franchise has earned generations of fans from those who grew up with the books, animated projects, and Peter Jackson’s live-action films. As such, the upcoming television series will be a massive addition to the beloved fantasy franchise. Every update has meant the world to fans – and now we’ve received the biggest update so far. The show’s title has been officially released, along with a trailer, revealing that the series is titled The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
At this time, the trailer is merely a quick teaser which features the character Galadriel reading a passage from the classic Tolkien story. Specifically, Galadriel as played by Morfydd Clark, is reading the famous Ring Verse speech. It’s the perfect way to reveal the show’s title, which is appropriately none other than “The Rings of Power.”

This short teaser trailer is an exciting glimpse for what’s to come for fans of the Lord of the Rings franchise. Hopefully we’ll have plenty of other meaningful glimpses into the series as we approach the show’s September premiere. After all, fans are going to have a lot of questions for the series and Amazon is definitely going to want to kick the promotional campaign into high gear.
