Hawkeye helped close out 2021 for the MCU in a big way. The Disney Plus show featured a new adventure for Clint Barton, and introduced a new hero to the fold, Kate Bishop. Beloved villain The Kingpin was also initiated into the MCU. However, this wasn’t any ordinary Wilson Fisk, but rather Vincent D’Onofrio’s version of the character from Daredevil.
One character that certainly took fans on a ride was Jack Duquesne, played by Tony Dalton. Jack was the fiancée of Kate Bishop’s mother, Eleanor. Throughout the series viewers were made to believe that the character was involved in some shady business with the Tracksuit Mafia, and may have even killed his uncle. Of course, when it was all said and done, Duquesne was nothing more than an oblivious man who had an unhealthy obsession with swords.
It was actually Eleanor who was in bed with Kingpin and the Tracksuit Mafia, attempting to throw Jack under the bus when Kate got closer to the truth. In fact, Jack even spent some time in jail after Kate did some more digging into his financial records. We never got to see Jack in jail in the final cut of the show, but it appears there was some footage filmed from his time behind bars that was left on the cutting room floor.
So I’m watching this gag reel of Hawkeye and it looks like there is a deleted scene where we could have seen Jack Duquesne in jail. Maybe he was chatting with someone of interest? @Hawkeye_Updates @hawkeyeofficial #Hawkeye #JackDuquesne pic.twitter.com/7jLSMvK8jW

The Hawkeye gag reel recently released on Disney Plus showcases Jack in a jail cell shortly after being taken into custody by the police. In a separate deleted clip, he is shown brandishing his sword during the final battle of the Christmas party.
It remains to be seen how big of a role Jack will play in the MCU moving forward. Hawkeye wrapped up with Kate Bishop and Clint Barton seemingly putting an end to their issues with the Tracksuit Mafia, and spending Christmas together at the Barton home.
